Reception Site

Next we needed to find a place for our reception, unlike our search for churches we were not having the same overwhelming luck. There are not very many large halls for rent in the area that fit what we were looking for. We didn't want a country club, or a church hall, we wanted something that felt comfortable and decorated, something we just had to put the finishing touches on and it would be perfect. In the end we found what we were looking for up at Steele Hill Resort in Sanbornton, New Hampshire (about 10 miles away from the church). It is called the Carriage House and it is beautiful, I can't imagine a more perfect location for our needs. It is two floors, the bottom floor is sort of a receiving area where guests can leave their coats, sign the guestbook if they haven't already, or just hang out in the couches by the fireplace until they are ready to go upstairs. The top floor is the main hall. It is a large room with high ceilings, wood floors, a fireplace, and a bar. It is exactly what we were looking for.
